As in my last entry, I've done some adding and subtracting to the series, though not as drastic. For one thing, Shinobi Mamoru the Warriors of Legend and Shinobi Mamoru Hurricane Fiestar is now one huge epic together with the original title comprising of three major sagas and about six arcs in a time span from Spring 2006 to Winter 2007. If you've read the Shinobi Mamoru pilot chapters of 2005, the battle against Koumori is only half of it. Think of it like the Sailor Moon R anime with the first half of the series dealing with aliens and the second half with the whole Black Moon Family fiasco w/ Chibi Usa.
From watching Sentai's Boukenger and then GekiRanger, I've decided that the treasure hunting aspect of Bouken Mamoru wouldn't fit with a series that I really want, since I relished a lot of Chinese culture into the premise from the elements to the five heavenly beasts so I've decided to go with a more general Martial Arts theme with the same idea. Since I've done that, I went and searched for a more suitable title Wushu Mamoru.
Mahou Mamoru is the same, just beefed up with more drama with having the tasks of being Magician Mamoru a difficult job to do with several people before them being cursed for life, killed, or even worse, though many wouldn't think so, selling their souls to the dark side.
Starlight Mamoru is very much the same, oh how I want to get started writing this series! A small spoiler, but the events that occur in the forementioned Shinobi Mamoru special and the Mamoru series preceeding, actually foreshadows of what's to happen in this series.
Shinobi Mamoru in the year 2035 is the same mostly, but after seeing Megaranger and playing around with an arcade controller I have for the NES I've decided instead of writing about a series with some plots dealing with a card game, way too similar to YGO, I've decided to go with a highly interactive video game franchise with emphasis on old school fighting games from the SNES days and created Victory Star Fighter, most commonly called V-Star Fighter. Orginally it was supposed to be Virtual Star Fighter but Virtual Fighter was already taken! Grrr.... j/king! While the fighting game aspect might be considered old, especially in the eyes of the 2035 crowd, the main reason why this game becomes so popular is because you can make and design your own fighting from design to clothing to fighting abilities based on the virtues of Power, Speed, Defense, or a combination of the three. Because of this aspect, like Game Freak for Pokemon games for those game shark cheaters, the company that makes this game has put heavy restrictions to prevent illegal hacks to the game and to the system. While the game is mainly for interactive purposes with another player, there are 1 player modes where the player can gain levels and an in game currency used for clothing, weapons, and some other nice items. If you played any of the Megaman EXE or the new Megaman Star Force games, the game play is very much like that. Since of this, the series is now known as Shinobi Mamoru V-Star Fighter with the Mamoru powers tied to the game.
Jikan Mamoru, I'm not so sure, Some of the characters in this series pops up sometimes in the previous stories. What I would like them to do is introduce the whole team in one arc in Shinobi Mamoru V-Star Fighter on a mission and seemingly screw it all up and end up rewriting history from there to their home 31st century where their characterizations are different because of this... In the original timeline, they become Mamoru in a crisis situation as a force opposing the forces of Revengence who has a necklace of the skulls of all the Mamoru he's killed. In this new timeline because their old selves botched the job, they've managed to alter it so that Revengence dies in V-Star with a whole new bunch of villains unrelated to the previous ones to play with. I'm thinking about doing almost like a Mafia-like gang.
Now, a new series has come up and its premise is based entirely on Mobile Phones and electric powered bullet trains with yet another new cast set in the year 2015. Five teens from across or descended from other nations gather in the US with the use of nicknames and endangered species. Working Title Special Express: Electric Mamoru/Tokkyuu Densha: Denki Mamoru

In non-Mamoru news, I've started another semester of college, getting a driving test for a possible Driver's License.
In the summer I was on a reading fest with a goal to read over 1500 pages and succeeded. I've started with a new volutme to a good Kung Fu series called 'the Five Ancestors,' book number four: the Crane. The Novel 'The Devil Wears Prada,' the main characters were protrayed better in the movie with the secondary cast much better in the book, Emily is less of a pomposs bitch who sympathsize with Andy sometimes when Miranda's just being a bitch making one order and denies making it. And of course in a course of fourish maybe five weeks of reading Harry Potter. I am about to start on the last book and I think it's a good series. Last time I checked, I've read about 2499 pages so I must say I've succeeded in my reading goal. And now if you excuse me, I'd appreciate if NONE of you gives away any crucial spoiler to Deathly Hallows.
Wish me luck on that. XD
Oh and since this is the eve of the 6th anniversary to 9-11, I send my heart to those who've died that day and to the men and women of the US military at war who sacrifice themselves daily to protect our nation. God Bless the USA.
